Adventure
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
Read it in the Library After Dark Or read it as plain textA boy fakes his own death mainly to enjoy attending his own funeral. Every scheme in it is committed with total sincerity and no sense of consequence whatsoever. I have never met a reader who did not, somewhere around the whitewashed fence, forgive him for all of it.
