Adventure

Don Quixote

by Miguel de Cervantes

A minor nobleman reads too many romances about knighthood and sets out to be one, mistaking windmills for giants along the way. His squire never quite manages to talk him out of any of it. Cervantes wrote the first great argument that a beautiful delusion, chosen on purpose, might be worth more than a dull truth.
