The Voyage of the Beagle(eBook #944)

by Charles Darwin

Darwin’s account of the Beagle’s voyage round the world from 1831 to 1836, the five years that made him a naturalist. Near the end the ship called at New Zealand, Sydney and Tasmania, and he left Australia, he wrote, “without sorrow or regret”. Australians have long since forgiven him, and named a city after him.
