Legend

Irish Fairy Tales

by James Stephens

James Stephens retells ten stories of Finn mac Cumhaill and the Fianna, beginning with Finn’s boyhood, in prose that is funny and strange in equal measure. It was published in 1920 with pictures by Arthur Rackham. Stephens’s The Crock of Gold is on the next shelf.
