The Book of Were-Wolves(eBook #900005)

by Sabine Baring-Gould

Baring-Gould gathers classical accounts, northern sagas, trials, folklore, and nineteenth-century theories around the were-wolf. Some conclusions reveal more about Victorian assumptions than their subjects, so read with a critical lamp. The old scan preserves both the inquiry and the dust of its era.
