The Book of Were-Wolves(eBook #5324)

by Sabine Baring-Gould

A Victorian clergyman’s survey of werewolf legend, from ancient accounts to real criminal cases in which fear of transformation became fear of neighbours. Baring-Gould wrote “Onward, Christian Soldiers” too; he was an enthusiastic collector of everything uncanny.
