Uncanny
The House on the Borderland
Read it in the Library After Dark Or read it as plain textA man’s diary is found in the ruins of a house that stood at the edge of somewhere the ordinary rules had stopped applying. Nothing in it is ever fully explained, which is precisely why it unsettled the writers who came after. I keep it shelved where the draught from the window can reach it.
