Celtic Fairy Tales

by Joseph Jacobs

Joseph Jacobs gathered these twenty-six tales from Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Cornish and Manx sources in 1892 and retold them for children. Most come from Ireland: Connla and the fairy maiden, Deirdre, and Munachar and Manachar. John D. Batten’s drawings are half the pleasure.
