Adventure
A Princess of Mars
Read it in the Library After Dark Or read it as plain textA Confederate officer is transported, without much narrative ceremony, to Mars, where he discovers lower gravity has made him unexpectedly formidable in a fight. Burroughs wrote pure escapism and never pretended otherwise. Take it for exactly what it offers and it delivers generously.
