Omnia Opera Sancti Patricii

by Saint Patrick

The writings that are certainly Patrick’s own: the Confession, and his angry letter to the soldiers of Coroticus, who had killed and enslaved his converts. Patrick was a Briton taken to Ireland as a slave at sixteen, who escaped and came back. His Latin is plain and awkward, and he apologises for it.
