Journey

True Tales of Mountain Adventures

by Mrs Aubrey Le Blond

Elizabeth Le Blond went to the Alps in 1881 for her health and found that she could climb. She made many winter ascents, took some of the first photographs of the high Alps in winter, and in 1907 became the first president of the Ladies’ Alpine Club. This book of 1903 gathers the adventures of other climbers, told for readers young and old who will never rope up themselves.
