The Works of Edgar Allan Poe — Volume 5

by Edgar Allan Poe

The last volume of the Raven Edition holds the poems, among them the one the edition is named after, alongside Hop-Frog and the essay The Poetic Principle. The Raven appeared in 1845 and made Poe famous almost overnight, though hardly any richer. Read it aloud; he meant it to be heard.
