Women in Love

by D. H. Lawrence

The Brangwen sisters, Ursula and Gudrun, and the two men they love, from the Midlands to the snows of the Tyrol. After the trouble over The Rainbow no English publisher would risk it, and it came out first in New York in 1920, sold by subscription. Its American publisher, Thomas Seltzer, was prosecuted for it and acquitted.
