The Idler Magazine, Vol. III, May 1893

by Various

The Idler, a monthly founded in 1892 by Jerome K. Jerome and Robert Barr for light, clever reading. Conan Doyle, Kipling, Mark Twain and Bret Harte all wrote for it. The editors’ gossipy column, The Idlers’ Club, was half the reason people bought it.
