Wonder

Flower Fables

by Louisa May Alcott

A collection of small fairy tales, written for children Alcott knew personally, well before she wrote the book that made her famous. They are gentler and stranger than her later, sturdier realism. I keep them near the nursery corner of the catalogue, where they are happiest.
