Adventure
The Three Musketeers
Read it in the Library After Dark Or read it as plain textThree sworn companions and the young man determined to join them get tangled in court intrigue, secret alliances, and one especially dangerous woman who outmanoeuvres nearly everyone in the book. Dumas wrote adventure with such infectious momentum that the plot barely pauses for you to catch your breath. Loyalty, in this one, is treated as a discipline rather than simply a feeling.
