Wonder
The Marvelous Land of Oz
Read it in the Library After Dark Or read it as plain textA boy is transformed into a girl by enchantment and discovers an entire land already ruled by an army of opinionated, independent-minded women. Baum kept expanding Oz well past its first success, and this sequel is where he let the whole geography get considerably stranger. Ozma’s arrival here changes the entire shape of everything that follows in the series.
