The Library After Dark

Strange

The Dunwich Horror

by H. P. Lovecraft

Lovecraft’s story of 1929, set in a decaying village in the hills of north-central Massachusetts, where Wilbur Whateley grows up far too fast and goes to Miskatonic University’s library for its copy of the Necronomicon. The Necronomicon is the most famous of all imaginary books, and Lovecraft invented it, with an author, the mad Arab Abdul Alhazred. Other writers have been quoting it ever since.
