The Analects of Confucius
Read it in the Library After Dark Or read it as plain textThe sayings of Confucius and his disciples, gathered by their followers after his death in 479 BC and for two thousand years at the heart of a Chinese education. Most entries are a few lines long: a question, an answer, now and then a rebuke. It is a book to open anywhere.
