The Kama Sutra of Vatsyayana
Read it in the Library After Dark Or read it as plain textA very old manual on pleasure, mistaken by generations of English readers for something far racier than the sober treatise it actually is. Most of it concerns manners, household economy, and the discipline of attention. I keep it filed under customs rather than scandal, on principle.
