A Briefe Introduction to Geography

by William Pemble

William Pemble, a young Puritan lecturer at Oxford, died in 1623, and this little book of his was published some years later. It is a short course in the geography of his day, the kind a student would have learned beside a globe in the age of Mercator. The spelling is old, and so is the confidence.
